Rugby Africa developed a strategic mission of managing and developing all sport aspects and sections.
This spans the respect of rugby values, the management of rules application, educators and referees training and designations, and the discipline of players, coaches, referees and officials.
Training management is laying the foundations for a healthy growth of the game in Africa.
The Leading Rugby Program
The main objective of the Program is to empower our unions' workforce with the 4-year Leading Rugby Program. This cycle is impacting all dimensions of a union through the training of key stakeholders: presidents, CEOs, NTDs, Training Managers and more.
The Program is made of four distinct modules:
- Leadership: Strategy, governance, human resources and systems
- Rugby: Development, training, performance, women
- Business: Finance, accounting, commercial and investment
- Marketing: Strategy, communication, social network and sponsorship
Workshops with World Rugby
In partnership with World Rugby, Rugby Africa delivers each year and throughout Africa various specific workshops adapted to our unions' specific needs.
Our strategy is to train as many educators as possible to make our unions self-sustainable.
