Regional Challenge - West 2

Playing at home should give you an advantage but it is not a guarantee to win. Niger, despite a very good team and quality matches, didn't get into its tournament and ended at the last position (2 points). First place went to Burkina Faso with two wins (6 points) and in the middle, Mali with 5 points.

SCORES - REGIONAL CHALLENGE WEST 2 :

BURKINA FASO 10 - 10 NIGER

MALI 8 - 14 BURKINA FASO

NIGER 5 - 18 MALI

The three teams entertained us with good rugby and were of equal level. Despite the small scores, the matches were intense.

With Burkina Faso winning this tournament, it is the end of the Regional Challenge West. Indeed, we are taking a break and will only be back in October to play the two last stages : Center and South. Meanwhile Africa is getting ready for the launch of the Gold Cup. M-1 before the beginning of the biggest rugby competition of the continent !
